(Okay, this is the last post for a while. Sorry for filling up your RSS feeds! I had a lot of things saved up to post when I had time on the weekend. Now I will go out and have a life for a few hours.)
I resisted the Wizard Rock movement for a long time because it seemed so kitschy and because the only group I'd heard was Harry and the Potters, who are the originators of the whole movement, but who are... a little less talented, musically than some of the other groups who have followed. It also bothered me that so many groups who are so supportive of literacy have such problems counting (e.g. "Harry and the Potters" are only two people, "Oliver Boyd and the Rememberalls" is one person). Well, I've lately discovered that Harry Potter-related lyrics and production quality are not mutually exclusive. Here are a few songs I've discovered lately that I'm fond of:
"Accio Love" by Ministry of Magic ft. The Moaning Myrtles

"Here in Your Car" by Ministry of Magic (apparently this is a parody of some Muggle song that I don't know)

"Snape vs. Snape" by Ministry of Magic ft. The Parselmouths
